Finned alloy differential cover for TR2-4. Extra oil capacity contained in a low ‘chin’ to absorb LSD heat and reduce oil moving into the axle tube on competition work and fast road use.

Limited Slip Differential for Live Axle TR2 to 4A. This product is a new generation of limited slip differential designed and built in the UK and claims to be the strongest, most progressive and versatile LSD unit available.

For The Technical! The plate pack runs 8 active surfaces and even on light settings the maximum surface area is in use. A unique pre-loaded spacer allows variable or ‘fine tune’ pre-load settings rather than the more rigid 2-3 settings of other LSD types. The bevel and planet gears have been re-designed for smoother meshing. They are larger and stronger than previously known. The combination of modifications considerably reduces the rattle and excessive back lash traditionally associated with LSD units. Finally there is the added benefit of dual ramps. Two per unit will be available in the range as follows; 30/90, 40/90, 30/60, 45/45 and 50/90 plus more on request.

Alloy finned differential cover for TR4A,250,5 & 6. Additional cooling fins help cool oilespecially in all limited slip differential applications where temperature induced by the slipping clutches or gear adjustment. Heat is absorbed by the oil with limited capacity as there is such a small amount of oil. The internal design round the crown wheel collects the centrifugally thrown oil from the spinning crown wheel and feeds it back directly and over a wider area than the oil sump in the bottom of the differential housing. Bolt on direct replacement for existing item.

DIFFERENTIAL & PROP SHAFT

AXL203

Differential Stability Cups for main rear mountings for TR4A,250,5 & 6. These are accurately machined alloy cups to be used with the standard rear differential mountings. They replace the large heavy duty washer. Intended for race & fast road applications these cups are designed to almost cover the existing rubber bushes and obviate any lateral movement whilst allowing a degree of free suspension for road noise insulation.

Rear Differential Bush bonded polymer  with stainless inserts for TR4A,250,5 & 6. Much improved mounting for fast road use and straight replacement for the original bush. Large flat washers should be retained and reused. N.B. These are not as stable as using diff cups (AXL203) with original bushes.

Rear Differential Bush for TR4A,250,5 & 6. This is a substantial and strong bush and perfectly adequate for normal road application. Used in conjunction with ‘differential cups’ (AXL203) for all race applications and an option for fast road cars.

Differential Mounting Bush Kit in bonded polymer for TR4A,250,5 & 6. Provided the chassis differential pins (4) are secure, changing the differential bushes to polymer will clamp the differential onto the chassis more securely and will not be prone to attack and deterioration by oil. There are two grades of material, up rated blue for all fast road and red for race. Blue will be supplied unless you specify otherwise.

Uprated/Competition Propshaft. TR2-6. With better quality UJs at each end and a greatly improved splined compressible shaft much stronger than the original. This is a fully damped propshaft which will reduce transmission feed back from the rear of IRS cars. Any length supplied outside of TR specifications at the same price.
